My mom introduced me to Reiki when I was 13. I didn’t fully understand it then but I knew, it felt magical. It exposed me to a new way of perceiving pain and feeling empathy. I carried this magic with me through my many adventures and began to add more tools to my own personal spiritual tool kit. I wanted to learn how to heal myself because I was in pain. Stuck in a foreign city, abandoned by my loved ones, vulnerable, financially strapped, and feeling completely powerless, I carried with me too much pain that would bring me down. I knew I needed healing, and that this healing would carry me through the future challenges of my life.
As I healed and felt a shift, I knew this was a way of life for me.
as A Spiritual Life Coach.
I began to share my healing with my community. While they trusted me with their wounds and stories, I desired to hold space for them and support their healing journey in any way I could. I was a practicing life coach without even recognizing what was happening. The calling for this work came to me and over time, it became so strong that I could not ignore it any further. I felt most aligned when I bridged purpose with passion, in service to others. Now, as a spiritual life coach, I finally feel most in alignment as I practice work that lights me up while lighting up those around me. It is now my greatest privilege to combine spiritual tools rooted in ancient wisdom, with modern-day mindset coaching, my own personal intuition, and skills to build a space that is in full service of others.
As a Host.
My first tv show “Your Voice” saw me step into the host I was meant to be. Several gigs followed, including interviews with Shah Rukh Khan, the Bachans and Indra Nooyi. I dreamt to being the Indian Oprah. And I decided to take that task in my own hands. My podcast, Always Aligning, launched in 2021 and is the show of my dreams. The Aligning Always podcast is a platform for women of color who are committed to self-growth and entrepreneurship. As An Actress.
I moved to Bombay to pursue my dreams of cinema at the age of 20. What I took away from the experience was far greater than I could have ever imagined. Navigating a male chauvinistic industry with no connections, no support and very limited means helped me cultivate inner resilience, build trust with myself, get comfortable with my own company and show up to each unknown day with a renewed sense of zest. It was in these formative years that I learned young how to truly step into my power. My body of work includes award winning Telugu film Kick, among with many other projects.
My journey of personal growth has made my life better, and it is what I hope for you. To live a more full and gratifying life.
